Clinical Research Physician (CRP)

A Clinical Research Physician plays a number of roles and have typical accountabilities in numerous disciplines:

  • To act as principal investigator for clinical trials by playing an active role
  • To assist in providing scientific expertise, tactical and strategic medical input to discovery and development of the clinical project.
  • To advise on safety strategy for key clinical trial designs and protocols and contribute to the core prescribing information for the product in respect of drug safety.
  • To perform regular safety medical reviews and surveillance activities for assigned investigational and marketed products.
  • To help in the preparation of clinical trial protocols, clinical trial reports and pharmaceutical regulatory documents.
  • To instill confidence in patients, customers and colleagues.
  • To Support SOP's, Good Clinical Practices, and all work processes to ensure that clinical operations unit is functioning efficiently while ensuring all the quality standards and established timelines are met.

  • Education:

    - Medical Degree with Registration Certificate
    - PG Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine/Clinical Research or any Good Clinical Practice Certification is preferred
    - Some clinical experience in any therapeutic area is expected

    - Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    - Goal oriented with an eye for detail.
    - Ability to work in a fast paced environment
