What is the Student Success Team (SST)?

The Student Success Team is a dedicated group of industry professionals at the James Lind Institute who make use of a problem-solving approach in an attempt to help students to be more successful in academics, at jobs, and in the community.
The Student Success Team creates coaction of the JLI academic staff, the student affairs department and the relevant industry professionals in order to promote a culture of learning in accordance with the career aspirations of the students. The SST increases the applicability of academic endeavors and channelizes the efforts of students for successful and relevant job placements and also gives a visionary understanding to them about career prospects in the Industry.

James Lind Institute provides real world knowledge and increases the acceptance of students in the industry. Throughout your training at JLI and later on as alumni our “Student Success Team” will provide career development guidance. The SST trains students about job search techniques, networking strategies, interviewing skills, and also provides a full personality development strategy.
We encourage our students and alumni to keep their personalized web page at JLI updated as it projects them in front of the prospective employers. This weblink is provided to students and is a copy of the profile created during registration. The “Students Success Team” keeps a track of the student profiles and forwards these weblinks to prospective employers as well as indirectly through human resource consultancies.

Faculty

Along with teaching, many JLI faculty members are highly skilled entrepreneurs who have marked their position in the industry, are published authors, and consult for many well-known companies around the world. This approach makes JLI a place in the academia where talent and Industry come closer for mutual constructive efforts.

You never stop learning and JLI keeps you on top of the latest advances in your field through the “Students Success Team” even after you complete your course. The SST sends you regular information about the latest advances, policy changes and all the dynamics of the Industry as a part of our committed effort towards career development of students and alumni.
