This program allows you to earn an Advanced PG Diploma from JLI first and then upgrade it to a Master of Science degree from the International Telematic University.

James Lind Institute (JLI) in collaboration with the International Telematic University, UNINETTUNO, Rome, Italy offers this unique program that allows you to earn an advanced postgraduate diploma and then progress this to a Master of Science in Health Management awarded by the prestigious International Telematic University, UNINETTUNO.The program has been carefully designed by experienced faculty and provides participants with an understanding of healthcare from a worldwide perspective ranging from developing countries in Africa to developed countries such as those in Europe.
What will be taught?
Pathway to earning a Master of Science in Health Management involves 2 stages.
Stage 1: Completion of Advanced PG DiplomaUpon enrollment in this program students will be given a choice to complete any Advanced Postgraduate Diploma from the James Lind Institute. Choosing an Advanced PG Diploma from the healthcare category e.g. Advanced PG Diploma in Healthcare & Hospital Management; Advanced PG Diploma in Tropical Medicine, Surveillance & Immunization; or Advanced PG Diploma in Public Health Research etc. is preferred but not mandatory.
Stage 2: Upgrade to MastersUpon completion of Stage 1 the student will be transferred to the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, Rome, Italy for pursuing the online Master of Science in Health Management.
How will I be assessed?
Advanced PG Diploma level (Stage 1):Up to the Advanced PG Diploma level, students will be assessed based on online multiple choice question tests for each lesson, and submission of assignments for each module.
Masters level (Stage 2):After the student transfers to the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO for upgrade to a Master of Science in Health Management, for each study module the student:
Am I eligible?
Applicants must hold a first degree (bachelors) or an equivalent recognised academic title. In addition, knowledge of the English language and basic use of computer and internet are required.
Documents Required to Apply:
- Copy of Bachelors Degree
- Copies of university transcripts / marks sheets for each semester/year
- Copy of Passport / National ID card
- TOEFL/IELTS score sheet (NOT Mandatory)
How will I study?
Up to the Advanced PG Diploma level the study procedure will involve completion of study modules in James Lind Institute's e-Campus that contain audio visual content, interactive documents, videos, podcasts and other multi-media content as may be applicable. How will I receive certificates?
Upon completion of the Stage 1, James Lind Institute will issue the Diploma and Transcript within 2 weeks. These are required for progressing to Stage 2 i.e. masters level. The soft copies will be sent to the student via email as soon as available and the originals will be sent via post/courier.
Upon completion of the masters level, the participant can either attend a graduation ceremony and receive the masters degree in the University Campus in Rome, Italy; or if unable to attend can request for the same to be sent via Post/Courier.
Working in Europe
The University offers to students the optional opportunity to facilitate them in order to spend part of their studies, when they draft their research dissertation project, as interns in a European Union member state. The Internship Program is coordinated by the Organisation Atheneum Liberal
