Why study this program?
Business development is purely about exploring opportunities for long-term growth from customers, markets, and relationships. Business development professionals find new customers and generate more value from current ones.
They find where potential new customers reside, the possibility of converting them to buyers and how to attract them. Further, they build strong relationships with customers to facilitate future opportunities. Thus, focused business development training is an essential aspect of getting ready for the next generation of international business development career opportunities. As the international business landscape becomes more and more complex, the need and demand for superior business development training has risen. Research and technology have made it easier to offer greater business insights, excellent tools and, overall, more relevant course design.
The business development training program conducted by James Lind Institute addresses the changing needs of business development professionals by offering multiple areas to specialize, in addition to the core business development training modules. As an example, a specialization of clinical research is suitable for those business development professionals who are working or intend to work with pharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations (CRO's) and other organisations offering clinical research services. The specialization of pharmacovigilance is suitable for those business development professionals who are working for pharmacovigilance companies, CRO's offering drug safety services etc. Other specializations on offer are healthcare and biotechnology.
